Democratic Congressman Targets Barron Trump, 11, In Vicious Post On Twitter

Congressman Targets Barron Trump

A Democratic lawmaker in the U.S. House of Representatives berated President Trump for not spending enough time with his 11-year-old son, Barron.

Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) made the disgusting charge on New Year’s Eve — when Trump, first lady Melania and Barron were all actually attending a party together.

‘He golfs when he could be reading or be in church or be with his family. Never see him with Barron,” Cohen wrote on Twitter. “You’d think he’d be golfing with Dad occasionally but narcissists only engage in activities where they are the show.”

Cohen — among a group of Democratic lawmakers who introduced articles of impeachment against Trump in October — was responding to a tweet from The Daily Beast’s Sam Stein, who said he didn’t mind Trump playing golf but that “the sheer amount he plays does spotlight how insincere Obama’s critics were about his golfing habits.”

Lawmakers and the media did not (for the most part) target the children of former president Barack Obama — even when one of them was photographed smoking marijuana. (Newsweak supported the weed smoking.)

But Barron has not been treated like the Obama’s children. Not at all. The young boy has become the target of sick liberals who will attack anything connected with Trump — even a child.

For instance, in June, Barron was filmed getting off of Air Force One. He was wearing an awesome T shirt that said “The Expert” (which quickly sold out from J Crew, one news site reported) and playing with a “fidget spinner.” The small, three-pronged toy is held between thumb and index finger and spun around; good players can do several tricks with them.

The spinners are the most popular toys in schools across the country, with young kids and even teenagers flipping and spinning them daily. The toys were initially prescribed by therapists as a concentration aid for fidgety children, including those with ADHD, but the fad caught on and now nearly every kid has one.

Liberals, of course, derided the boy, saying he must be a “special needs” child because he likes the toy.

They also mocked Barron after Trump said his son was distressed when he saw photos released by Kathy Griffith that showed the unfunny comedian holding a severed head that looked like the president.

And liberals again laid into Barron after Cohen’s tweet.

Some, though, pointed out that Trump is often pictured with his son.

Cohen denied that he targeted Barron.

We don’t know if Cohen was hitting the bubbly before his tweet (or whether he’s a mean drunk). All we know is that targeting an 11-year-old boy in a Twitter tirade is despicable — and we also know a bully when we see one.

Maybe he oughta’ try picking on someone his own size.
